Health-care reform continues to be a daily topic in all the news media. Lawmakers and healthcare leaders are working hard to review all the various proposals and their many issues. Our jobs will all be impacted by the final outcome whenever that comes about. The 3rd Annual Fall Institute held on September 24th addressed some the complexities that we will all face. This year, as always, the Metropolitan Philadelphia chapter will sponsor many educational opportunities to help us prepare for the upcoming changes.

We hope you will participate in the many educational and social events offered during this year including the Cost Report workshop, the Legislative update and Flyers game, the Spring Professional Development Institute, Decision Support workshop and, of course, the ever popular Accounting Update and Golf Outing. All of these offer wonderful networking opportunities too.
Maybe this is the year to join a committee, attend some education events and a social or two, get certified and help build the chapter to be even bigger and better. If we all work together we can make the world a better place to live and work. With your help and participation we can do just that.
