RICHARD B. ELLIS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The Richard B. Ellis, Jr. Scholarship is intended to benefit children of members of the Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter of HFMA who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in either Accounting or Finance and have expressed an interest in the healthcare industry. The scholarship has been established in the memory of Richard B. Ellis, Jr., a Chapter member and leader in the Philadelphia-area healthcare industry who was a friend, mentor and colleague to many of us. Rich worked in public accounting before becoming a senior financial executive with one of our area’s largest health systems before his untimely death in 2008 at age 51.

Annual Award Amount:

The Richard B. Ellis, Jr. Scholarship provides a cash award of $1,000 to an eligible undergraduate student who is selected by the Chapter Scholarship Committee based upon the information furnished in the scholarship application.

Submission Requirements:

Please email an electronic version of the attached scholarship application, including an essay (saved as a MS Word document), to Bob De Luca, on behalf of the Chapter Scholarship Committee, no later than November 15th of each year to bdeluca@ima-consulting.com. If you have questions or need clarification of the Richard B. Ellis, Jr. Scholarship requirements, please email Bob De Luca at bdeluca@ima-consulting.com.
