Cooper University Hospital
Cooper University Hospital is the leading provider of comprehensive health services, medical education and clinical research in Southern New Jersey. With over 550 physicians in over 75 specialties, Cooper is uniquely equipped to provide an almost unlimited number of medical services. Cooper University Hospital, anchors the Health Sciences Campus, a group of academic, health and medical institutions in Camden, N.J., connected by geography and a progressive approach to the revitalization of this promising city.
Cooper offers a network of comprehensive services that include prevention and wellness, primary and specialty physician services, hospital care, and ambulatory diagnostic and treatment services within Southern New Jersey, Philadelphia and the entire Delaware Valley. The hospital serves as Southern New Jersey’s major tertiary-care referral hospital for specialized services. These signature programs include: the Cooper Cancer Institute; the Cooper Bone & Joint Institute; Critical Care Medicine; the Cooper Heart Institute; the Cooper Neurological Institute and Cooper Radiosurgery Program. In addition, Cooper is the Level I Southern New Jersey Regional Trauma Center, one of only three Level 1 trauma centers in New Jersey.
Cooper is committed to excellence in medical education and offers training programs for medical students, residents, fellows, nurses and allied health professionals in a variety of specialties. In 2009, Cooper University Hospital partnered with Rowan University to form a new, four-year allopathic medical school in Camden, NJ which will be known as Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. The new medical school, slated to accept its first class in 2012, will be the first four year allopathic medical school in South Jersey. Currently, Cooper provides clinical training to third and fourth year medical students from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
As the anchor institution in the Cooper Plaza/Lanning Square neighborhood in Camden, Cooper takes an active role in community development and outreach. In partnership with other community organizations and businesses in Camden, Cooper has helped rehabilitate vacant historic houses that are now beautiful homes; renovated run-down urban parks to create fun and safe places for children to play and the community to gather; and improved the lives of dozens of city residents through career development training and employment. In addition, Cooper has participated in beautifying the neighborhood with new streetscaping, including better lighting, new sidewalks and curbs, and improved landscaping around the Health Sciences Campus.
Cooper University Hospital is situated in an excellent geographic area. The Health Sciences Campus is easily accessible from the entire Delaware Valley– located across the street from a commuter high-speed line train as well as the Delaware River Line and just a few blocks from the Camden campuses of Rutgers and Rowan Universities as well as the Adventure Aquarium and Campbell's Field. In addition, Cooper is just a few minutes from Philadelphia, with its wide variety of cultural, culinary and recreational opportunities. The hospital is located in an area less than one hour from the New Jersey Shore.

Doylestown Hospital
Doylestown Hospital is a comprehensive, community-focused healthcare facility serving patients and families in the northern suburban communities of Philadelphia, including Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania and Hunterdon and Mercer Counties in New Jersey.
Founded in 1923 by the Village Improvement Association (V.I.A.), our energies are always directed toward fulfilling a key phrase in our Mission Statement: to provide a responsive, healing environment. A guiding force behind the founding of Doylestown Hospital, the V.I.A recognized the need for public health initiatives and community healthcare services and is nationally recognized as the only Women's Club to own and operate a community hospital. Originally an eight-bed facility, Doylestown Hospital is now licensed for 207 beds at the present West State Street facility. In addition to the hospital, the V.I.A. Health System comprises: The Doylestown Surgery Center in Warrington; The Lab Fitness+Spa in Warrington; Pine Run Community and Health Center and Lakeview by Pine Run (an assisted living complex). The hospital has more than 2200 full- and part-time employees.
Areas of clinical emphasis include cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, maternal-child health, emergency medicine, critical care, cancer care, interventional radiology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology and rehabilitation.
Doylestown Hospital's Medical Staff is comprised of more than 420 physicians, dentists and specified professional personnel in more than 40 specialty areas. As part of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network, Doylestown Hospital physicians and patients of the Cancer Institute of Doylestown Hospital have the opportunity to participate in clinical research trials to evaluate the effectiveness of new cancer therapies.
Doylestown Hospital is fully prepared to meet the complex needs of our cardiac patients with our Heart Institute. Doylestown Hospital is rated among the top 10% in the nation for cardiac care for 2009-2010 by HealthGradesTM, a leading independent healthcare ratings organization. In 2010, for the third year in a row, the hospital received HealthGrades Specialty Excellence Awards™ for Cardiac Care and Coronary Interventions (2008-2010). Additionally, the Heart Institute of Doylestown Hospital was recognized with HealthGrades highest rating – 5-stars - for coronary bypass surgery, valve replacement surgery, coronary interventional procedures and treatment of heart attacks for 2010. Doylestown Hospital was one of only 53 hospitals nationwide to receive both the 2009 HealthGrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ and the 2009/2010 Outstanding Patient Experience Award™.
A new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department (scheduled to open in spring 2010) features 39 private treatment areas, a pediatric area, the Woodall Chest Pain Center, a dedicated CT scanner and a design that promotes the comfort and safety of all patients. A second floor patient care unit includes 40 private rooms. The new 490-space parking garage connects to the new building via an art walk.
Throughout the year, the hospital sponsors a number of community-related events and a variety of lectures and programs pertinent to the health and well-being of all members of the community.

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center
Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center is a regional referral center, known for
providing the most sophisticated levels of care. For more than five decades, the medical
center has been committed to enhancing the health and well-being of southern New
Jersey’s residents, particularly those most in need.
The 410-bed teaching hospital offers many specialty services, including: The New
Jersey Heart Institute at Lourdes, one of the largest providers of cardiac services in the
Delaware Valley; the Regional Perinatal Center for high-risk mothers and infants; the
Lourdes Regional Rehabilitation Center; the Southern New Jersey Regional Dialysis
Center; and the Center for Organ Transplantation, the only hospital in the state approved
to perform kidney, pancreas and liver transplants.
In 2005, Lourdes opened the Pavilion, a $54 million expansion that features a new
Emergency Department, operating suites, patient rooms and a new home for the Our
Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing.
The Lourdes Wellness Center in Collingswood is a leader in integrative and wholistic
services, combining mainstream medicine, alternative therapies and spirituality to
enhance a healthy lifestyle. Programs include community health education and wellness,
integrative family medicine and the Lourdes Institute of Wholistic Studies.
Our Lady of Lourdes is also recognized by the American Hospital Association as a
