The Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter of HFMA is pleased to offer a workshop series designed to augment the financial managers' understanding of Medicare Cost Reports. Additionally, we are offering simultaneous sessions that will address topics selected to provide a more robust understanding of those topics to today's healthcare financial managers.  Specifically, these sessions will address Medical Coding Issues for the non-coder (Fall session) and fundamental Healthcare Finance Issues (Spring session.)  This workshop series is designed to give the attendee a practical hands-on application in the Fall session; followed by a more analytical, approach-based application of the Fall topics in the Spring.  Please note the following workshops / dates and clear your calendars.

Member price is $50 per workshop and $75 for Non-Members.  Members can receive a Special Pricing for signing up and paying for both workshops prior to October 23rd.

These workshops are geared towards teaching the components of the cost report and then providing examples of practical application of cost report information as a healthcare financial manager.

Understand the wealth of information provided by the cost report beyond what is reported to Medicare.  See how this information can play a role in every financial manager's day-to-day responsibilities.

These workshops are geared towards assisting financial personnel in understanding medical coding terminology and how that coding affects financial reimbursement through a better understanding of healthcare finance.
