McBee Associates, Inc. is one of the nation's largest, independent consulting firms for the health care industry.  We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results oriented health care financial professional to join our company as a Revenue Cycle Specialist in the Product Development department located in our corporate office in Wayne, PA.

 

Position Overview:

 

As a member of the Product Development team, the Revenue Cycle Specialist will use expertise in hospital/health systems patient access, charge services, coding, billing and collections and information systems to help build, test, analyze and evaluate new service concepts and processes as possible product offerings for the company. 

 

Work with other technical experts and initiate strategies for development, implementation and “test marketing” through existing clients prior to national launch. Ensure new revenue cycle services are compliant with company policies, procedures, and practices, as well as with all state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.

Occasional travel is required as is occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications •5-8 years experience in hospital revenue cycle processes and management. Prior health care consulting experience is a plus.
•A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Health Care/Health Policy Administration (MHA a plus).
•Must possess technical expertise in regulatory compliance, revenue cycle, process improvement and internal audit.
•Creative problem identification, conceptualization, and contingency thinking skills are required. The ability to work well with individuals from a variety of disciplines with diverse levels of knowledge is required.
•Possess superior writing and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in support of revenue cycle product initiatives and goals.
