| Job Description |
Supports the Vice President of Finance of The Methodist Hospital in organization and management of all financial matters of the hospital including but not limited to the operating budget, capital budget, academic budget, business analytics, cost accounting, decision support and maintenance of all hospital based financial reporting systems. The Director of Finance will also serve as the cost accounting and decision support leader for The Methodist Hospital System and support System leadership by providing cost accounting information. |

| Qualifications |
Five to eight years experience with hospital operations, hospital cost accounting, and decision support required. Computer literate with a strong emphasis in working with database and spreadsheet software applications. Supervisory experience is required. Must have the aptitude to lead and supervise people.
Bachelors Degree - Accounting or Finance required
Master Degree - Business Administration or Healthcare Administration required. |
