Primary Responsibilities: This position will serve as a resource to support TJUH departments when developing new charges, changing current charges and making updates as required by payors to aid in the charge capture and payment processes. Additionally, this position will model managed care contracts from a financial perspective as well as insure that payments by managed care payors are accurate and in agreement with each contract. Essential Functions: · Serve as a resource to support TJUH departments in implementing charge opportunities, · Education of department managers on tools available to discover charge issues and opportunities, · Review and provide input on new charges and changes to existing CDMs, · Work with Business Services to resolve billing issues related to charging, · Managed care contract modeling and payment analysis, · Perform ad-hoc financial analysis of TJUH departments and programs, and · Interact with co-workers, visitors and other staff consistent with the core values of TJUH. |
